Neutral Daytime Glitter: Grown-up Sparkle

Yes glitter in the morning. To the office.

YOLO right?

I did a super simple neutral eye using the Tarte Tarteist PRO to Go palette. Stylin in the socket and along lower lash line, Dominate in the outer half of lids, Boss in the inner half. Then on with the black liner (MAC Blacktrack.)

For the glitter bit, all I did was dab a tiny bead of NYX Glitter Primer on the center of my lid (avoid smearing it down over your eyeliner and lashes) and then use a finger to press a holographic bronze glitter over before the primer sets

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you are working slowly or carefully, then do one eye at a time and apply the primer just before you press the glitter on. Make sure it’s a little moist/tacky when your glitter goes on, and the flecks will stay on all day. If it dries out and you need to dab on more glitter in areas, dab on more primer first.

Tip: Let the scattering of sparkle go up beyond your crease/socket line slightly so it’s visible when your eyes are open. It’s pretty. You don’t have to keep it all within your socket unless you’re doing a dramatic cut crease.

You can also use pure aloe vera gel (anything that is 90+% pure aloe) as a glitter primer by the way, but the flecks won’t stay on as long.

Other Makeup:

Cheeks - Becca Flowerchild

Lips - MAC Nicki’s Nude (this is out in stores now; LOVE this color)
