I do prefer Colourpop’s Ultra Satin liquid lips over their Ultra Mattes. Satins set to a matte finish anyway but they are more comfy, don’t darken as much after drying, and aren’t super dry and wrinkly looking. Basically none of the pitfalls of liquid-to-mattes.
