L.A. GIRLS MATTE FLAT FINISH PIGMENT GLOSS in DREAMY
Super simple face of the day to kick off the weekend.
Decided to try on this L.A. Girls matte liquid lipstick. I’ve put it off for awhile because many of these have a rather dry mousse texture that has a tendency to look patchy if you don’t smooth it out quickly, and the applicators are not the best to work with.
But this color creamy tawny peach tone is - well, dreamy. If you like Kat Von D’s Double Dare, this is a slightly softer version of that with very similar undertones. I did line my lips with H&M lip pencil in Choc Therapy, a perfect neutral brown-pink shade, before going in with the liquid lip.
I’m also wearing Becca’s Afterglow palette with the Flowerchild blush shade on my cheeks, Wild Honey bronzer to sculpt a bit, and Moonstone on the high points of my face.
On the lids I have good ol’ Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe, Colourpop Super Shock shadow in So Quicke (a long-time fave) dabbed over for some sparkle, and a little of Catrice’s Matt Eyeshadow in 010 Vanity Fair in the inner corners for a bone-beige brightening effect.
