Brown Glitzy Polishes: PUPA Lasting Color Glossy Nail Polish in 809 and GOSH Nail Lacquer in 612 Galaxy
—
A fan of neutral nails? Update them for Fall with formulas that have plenty of glitz in them! I’m not talking glitter polishes. I’m talking about those that contain a truck-load of ultra-fine natural or synthetic mica particles in multiple colors.
A long-time favorite of mine is Chanel’s Graphite, but here are 2 affordable shades that look oh-so-chic and neutral, and at the same time really glam and sparkly.
809 is a deep sparkly polish with bronze-brown-gold-pink-olive flecks that goes on evenly and becomes opaque in 2-3 coats.
GOSH Galaxy goes on beautifully in 2 coats and does not translate well on camera, but is gorgeous in real life because the olive gold tones are shot through with unexpected blue sparks.
The bonus is they have all the sparkle effect of glitter polishes, but dry smooth to the touch and are not a pain to remove.
What are some of your favorite sparkly mica polishes?
